The home provides permanent residential accommodation for seniors that are no longer able to stay in their own home and need care and support for everyday living. It also provides respite services.
The stunning home includes a coffee hub, private dining room, activities and lifestyle area, library, aromatherapy room and hairdressing salon. "We have crafted a range of fun, engaging and stimulating activities for all our residents to enjoy," Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator, Luke said. "They always have the freedom to do as much or as little as they choose. It's simply rewarding to see the joy in all of our residents, especially when their favourite activity is on."
Recently, residents have let their inner Picasso out and have painted and decorated some wooden bird houses for a brand-new courtyard aviary.
"The bird house project was a big hit with as residents had the chance to let their creativity run free," Luke said. "There was no stopping them as soon as they picked up their paint brushes."
The aviary was designed with the intent to provide residents with some beautiful birds to care for but to also offer companionship and pet therapy which in turn, can relieve stress, anxiety and improve social interactions and positive moods.
"When it comes to your loved ones, we will always ensure they are provided with the right amount of care, support and respect so they can live the with the best quality of life," Luke said.
