The Wilderness Society will host a bush dance in Wickham next month to raise funds to protect the Pilliga forest from the threat of coal seam gas.
The family friendly fund-raising event will be held at The Croatian Club in Wickham on Saturday, August 3 from 5.30pm to 11.00pm.
Cost of entry is $15 cash per adult. Children are free.
The evening will include live music, an authentic bush dance with caller, soloist Coral Lee and country-rockers Mick Daley and the Re-Mains, as well as wood-fired pizza.
Adults and kids raffles to be drawn on the night.
