Ash: 8 weeks, Staffy X mastiff
Meet Ash, an 8-week-old, Staffy-cross-mastiff puppy.
If you are looking for an adventurous and curious dog, Ash is your girl.
Ash is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment.
She has been well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs and gets along well with them all.
She's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Ash will grow up to be a medium dog and will need a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate as she would be too lonely on her own.
It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.
Ash needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown.
As Ash is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately five months old.
For more information or to meet Ash, visit www.petrescue.com.au/listings/734152 or email adopt@dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Bean: 5 years, Staffy X
Introducing the incredible Mr Bean who is available to be adopted into a very lucky family.
Bean is a male, five-year-old Staffy mix who is a joy to be with.
He's completely house trained, is great on a lead and has amazing recall when off lead.
He also is a little cuddle monster who loves nothing more than to just be curled up next to you.
Bean is great with children and would make a wonderful family dog, but would need someone home at times during the day as he can get upset if left alone for too long.
His ideal home would be with a retired couple, so he can enjoy companionship and a quieter life.
He currently sleeps indoors either in his bed or curled up at his carers feet with our other dog.
Bean is extremely dog friendly but like most dogs he gets along better with new dogs when off lead.
He isn't too sure of cats and hasn't been tested with pocket pets.
A few years back Bean underwent surgery to repair a slipped disc, and even though you wouldn't think anything ever happened to him, he does need to be encouraged to take it easy from time to time.
This can be hard when he is completely ball obsessed and would happily have you playing fetch all day long.
For more information or to meet Bean, visit www.petrescue.com.au/listings/622246 or email inquiries to adopt@dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Bean's adoption fee is $300 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
