The time change will mean that sunrise and sunset will be one hour later, allowing more light in the evenings.
The daylight saving time will end on Sunday, April 5, 2020, when clocks are turned back from 3am to 2am.
In Australia, daylight saving is observed in NSW, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and the ACT, but not in Queensland.
