Melbourne rock bands Even and Magic Dirt will open Newcastle's Scene and Heard festival before the likes of Sneaky Sound System, Jebediah and headliners Wolfmother take to the stage for what is anticipated to be another solid day of tunes that will have punters feeling nostalgic for the 90s and early naughties.

The set times for Scene and Heard, returning to Wickham Park on Sunday, November 10, dropped last week seeing Newcastle exclusives Eskimo Joe blessed with the sunset spot before The Dandy Warhols and Wolfmother arrive to bring it home.
Wolfmother frontman Andrew Stockdale, who has been the Sydney band's sole constant member since it was formed in 2004, told media this week he was looking forward to Scene and Heard.
"We really thrive on playing in front of big crowds and with a lineup like this one, this crowd is going to be massive."
Stockdale said fans can expect a full Wolfmother set inclusive of the hit tracks from the first, self-titled album that launched the band to stardom - Joker and the Thief and Woman - and more recent music from their fourth album, Victorious.
Celebrating 25 years in 2019, Even will be the first band to hit the Scene and Heard stage at 12.45pm. Magic Dirt, seminal female fronted alternative rock band from Melbourne, will follow at 1.45pm. Sneaky Sound System, one of Australia's most well-known dance music exports, will take over the stage at 2.45pm, serving up punters their greatest hits.
It was almost 23 years ago that Jebediah first shambled on stage in their shorts and sneakers sporting blue hair, dimples, grins and smirks and started bouncing off the walls with their roaring riffs and soaring pop hooks.
Now six albums and piles of awards and acclaim later, the Jebs continue to captivate their devout fan base with their infectious energy and enthusiasm, which they will once again do at Scene and Heard followed by beloved Australian singer-songwriter Alex Lloyd who in 2019 is celebrating 20 years since the debut of his masterwork Black The Sun.
Eskimo Joe, creators of chart topping track Black Fingernails, Red Wine, will hit the stage at 5.45pm. The indie rockers from Western Australia just celebrated 21 years together.
US band The Dandy Warhols are using 2019 and their 25th anniversary as a time to not only celebrate the past, but also look into their future. They will perform past hits and music from their 10th album, Why So Crazy, when they hit the stage at 6.45pm.
Wolfmother will shut the place down kicking off at 8.05pm.
The Don't Come Monday party stage this year features The Potbelleez DJ's, Andy Murphy and John Course.
