With data showing that one in six Australian workers experience poor mental health, the institute has teamed up with the NSW Government to help build better workplaces by providing the free training.

Clinicians and expert workplace mental health facilitators from Black Dog Institute will travel to the business to deliver a two-hour training session.

The training will teach participants how to improve resilience and wellbeing at work, understand how mental ill-health can affect the workplace, have difficult conversations and what other support is available.

The institute will also hold public workshops, which are open to anyone wanting to improve their understanding of mental health.
