Short films from Spain, Latin America, South Korea, Mexico, Japan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and Australia will screen at the Royal Exchange Hybrid Arts Centre in November as part of the second annual Newcastle International Short Film Festival.
"NISFF audiences will see films that they will not see anywhere else," festival coordinator Mike Griffin said.
"We have numerous different categories ranging from animation, live action narrative, experimental and documentary films. We even have a specific category for regional NSW filmmakers.
"Audiences will be treated to a magical night at the cinema with a diversity of voices being heard. Some are funny, some are clever, some are simply heartbreaking."
The festival will be held November 15 and 16.
For tickets, contact the Royal Exchange in Newcastle on (02) 4929 4969. For more information on the films showing, check out the festival's Facebook page or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
