No limits as Star Struck lives on at Kotara's Rooftop in December

Students featured in this year's NSW public schools performing arts extravaganza Star Struck will provide some Christmas cheer across the Hunter in December.

Star Struck operations manager Casey Horner said the students were delighted to take the opportunity to share their talents over a longer period and a wider audience.

"This year we're making the most of our local connections and partners to bring some great traditional and new seasonal music to the public," she said.

Students will be part of a Star Struck Rooftop Takeover at Westfield Kotara between 6pm-7pm from Monday, December 9 to Friday, December 20.

Different groups of students will perform each evening.

There will be a special performance on Friday, December 13 by the Hunter Singers youth choir and a reprise of the Christmas Showcase on the final night, December 20.

On Saturday, December 14 a select group of vocalists will perform at the Glencore Upper Hunter Christmas Spectacular. Glencore was a major sponsor of this year's Star Struck.

The 27th edition of Star Struck was staged at Newcastle Entertainment Centre in June. The 2019 theme was No Limits.

The show featured the talents of over 3500 students from more than 120 Hunter primary and secondary state schools who came together to produce a high quality, professionally staged regional event.

Star Struck 2019 - No Limits was presented by Public Schools New South Wales in partnership with Major Sponsor, Glencore, NEWFM, 2HD and The Herald as media sponsors.
