The guide features 60 exciting activities to keep the whole family entertained.
Lake Macquarie Mayor Kay Fraser said the council has an affordable range of holiday activities to suit any interest.
"From sculpture tours and art activities to sea cave exploration and kayaking classes, our Summer Activity Guide provides a great way for children and adults to be introduced to a wide-range of activities available in our city," she said.
"Whether you're a working parent in need of all-day activities or simply a family looking for a one-off event to help keep boredom at bay - Lake Macquarie has your summer holidays sorted."
The event program officially starts on Monday, January 6 and runs through to Friday, January 24 with an activity scheduled almost every day.
