After a whirlwind 12 months where he won Toyota Star Maker, was recognised in the Golden Guitar Awards and toured with Australian country music legends Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley, O'Connor is now getting around the country on his own tour, which will include a stop in Newcastle in March.
The 19 year old from Port Macquarie became the 40th winner of the Toyota Star Maker at the 2019 Tamworth Country Music Festival. That year he released his debut album, Everything I feel.
He was still riding the waves of success into 2020, becoming a Golden Guitar nominee in the highly coveted Male Artist of the Year category and Qantas New Talent of the Year. O'Connor and band are now on the Keep Rollin' tour, which will land at The Badger's Lair on March 6.
Newcastle rising young talent Piper Butcher will support O'Connor.
Doors open 7.30pm. Tickets cost $22.
