NSW Lotteries said on Monday they were searching for the fourth winner of Saturday night's division one prize. Each of the four winners takes home $1.2 million.
The ticket was bought at Swansea Newsagency on the Pacific Highway. It is an unregistered ticket so officials are waiting for the prize winner to come forward to check their ticket and claim the prize.
Swansea Newsagency owner Wayne Blackmore said he hoped the winner came forward soon.
"We are very excited to have contributed to making someone's dream of winning the lottery come true," he said.
"We have been sharing the news with all of our customers that we sold a winning ticket in a Saturday Lotto draw.
"All of our customers are so excited and hope they will be the next to win a division one prize.
"We would like to congratulate our winner and thank them for shopping at our store.
"We are so happy - it almost feels as though we have won ourselves!"
The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy urged everyone who bought a ticket at the newsagency to check it immediately.
"Make sure you check your wallet, handbag, fridge door, or anywhere else you may have stored your tickets. Previous winners have found valuable tickets in all sorts of places," she said.
" "If you discover you're holding the winning ticket, hold on tight to it and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so we can start the prize claim process."
